The cold weather is getting the best of a lot of us this season. We pulled up to Wooldridge Square Park in ATX this cold Friday morning and first in line was John. I sniffled and he said "You too huh? I have a running nose as well" I immediately replied, "You better go catch it then" Grunts and groans were heard from the crowd of 20 or so guys waiting in line. Connie showed up and warmed everyone up with her welcoming smile. Shoulder the Cross gave away several warm clothes as well as jeans and t-shirts this brisk Friday morning. Bruce was there as he usually is. Bruce can be seen pushing his dual purpose shopping cart around the park area. The cart is overloaded with everything Bruce owns, as well as helps him walk. Bruce was injured in a pedestrian/vehicle hit and run a few years back and has never been the same since. He does not have the money to get himself fixed, so he doesn't walk very well. His spirits are always high though. One day soon, Shoulder the Cross will get his story and blog about it here. Stay warm and be kind to our brothers and sisters on the street.

your pretty awesome
